When I asked Kiril and Sonya what their vision was for their wedding day, they said they wanted a “gay,” ethereal wonderland which is exactly how it felt on their beautiful celebration day. Kiril and Sonya met years ago when their dads worked together, but when they came across each other again on Tinder, they couldn’t help but reconnect. Together they are silly and lovey and share a love of boats and a lot of whimsy - much of which comes through in their much of their wedding full of handmade, diy decor and fairy-themed details.
Should I have a Wedding Welcome Party?
I’ve been seeing more wedding welcome parties recently and I am HERE.FOR.IT. What is a wedding welcome party? The welcome party is a fun pre-wedding celebration to kick off your wedding weekend. Many couples have been adapting the welcome party as a great way to allow family and guests to meet and get to know each other in a casual setting before the big day, get reacquainted with new and old friends and literally, welcome your guests for the wedding celebration to follow. Your friends and family have all made the trip to celebrate you - why not make a whole weekend out of it if your time and budget allows?

For Megan and Mikey together, it meant the city where they started their lives together as adults, where they shared multiple homes, found adventure, cultivated and enriched friendships, advanced their careers, and where they fell deeper in love with each other.
