When Alex and David got engaged amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, they were bummed to find their engagement photoshoot options limited due to safety precautions and restrictions. But when we sat down and brainstormed what, to them, was the perfect evening that represented their love and favorite times together, they both immediately thought of one word: "Pasta." Well...4 words.. "Making Pasta at home." We decided to embrace the times and take advantage of this opportunity to highlight their love for spending time together in the kitchen making delicious food. We spent the afternoon capturing their favorite past time- in the kitchen making homemade pasta from scratch while drinking wine. Then they did a quick wardrobe change and we ran out to their local park to watch the sunset. Having the shoot in their home was extra special because it could capture the beautiful kitchen that David custom-designed a few years prior, the place they call home, the place they’ve found comfort together throughout this pandemic. I'm excited to share this photoshoot with you not only just because Alex is one of my best friends and they’re freakin adorable (and they let me eat the pasta after), but also because it's a great reminder that despite the pandemic, while times have changed, love never will and we can embrace that even in the comfort of your own home.
