Here’s a story for you to fall in love with..because I sure did. Sarah is an EMT and Brandon is a firefighter. They met when they both started working as EMTs at the same time and became friends. When Brandon was switching from night shift to day shift, Sarah offered to have him come over for breakfast so he could adjust his body to staying awake during the day. From her perspective: “I didn't consider it a date at first.. I was wearing sweats, no makeup and had wet hair after all! We ate French toast.. “ and they just talked and hung out all day. 7 years later, they’ve eaten French Toast at every anniversary. You best believe they’ll be eatin it at their wedding.
When Sarah first emailed me to inquire about wedding photography and when we were figuring out a place to meet for coffee, she said “..or wine?” and I knew I was going to love them already. After a great evening of getting to know them, I left our meeting feeling like I had just had drinks with friends. They’ve been absolute champs as Covid-19 hit and impacted their wedding plans. They’ve had to make tough decisions like cutting their guest list and changing venues (2 weeks before the wedding!), but what I loved is that they didn’t let that stop them- they are getting married this weekend!! I’m counting down the days to watch them get married and I’m SO stoked to share their engagement photos here!
