This was the scene in downtown seattle this morning. Hundreds of people of all ages showed up with buckets, sponges, trash bags, rags, snacks, coffee and water to help clean up. Slowly, we joined together and scrubbed words of hate off of walls. Slowly, graffiti was replaced with soap and paint and burn fumes were replaced with cleaner. It was a moving and emotional sight to see the city come together. But now we need to come together as a human race to be the change that we and our children deserve.

Be the light.
