The night before Aziah & Khao’s wedding, I went to bed crossing my fingers that the rain outside my window would clear out by tomorrow morning and the clouds would part and sun would shine over Half Moon Bay. Unfrotuantely when I woke up the next morning and looked out the window, that wasn’t the case. I got to the hotel where Azizah and Khao were getting ready, and the wedding coordinator kept peeking her head in asking what Azizah wanted to do. What I loved about Azizah is how calm she stayed and how matter-of-fact she was and how she stayed true to what she wanted- for her cermmony to be outdoor. By 1:45 it was still sprinkling and Azizah stuck to her guns and made the call- “outside. I believe it will stop!” When 2:30 rolled around, just as Azizah called, the rain stopped and we had a beautiful, slightly overcast ceremony outside.
By the time dinner was served and we stepped outside to check out the weather, the clouds parted and we had the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen over Half Moon Bay.
The rest of the evening was just an epic multi-course meal and turning up the dance party on the dance floor with Azizah and Khao’s families. Here are photos from the day :
