Two weeks ago, I got the opportunity to attend a photography workshop for one of my favorite photographers, Christine Chang. (Seriously, no joke on the name.) Although, I’ll admit, I partially stumbled upon her when I was Googling myself as a joke. Hey, no shame! But I am so glad I did because she is now my favorite photographer to follow- I love her style, her work, her attitude and outlook on life, and her ability to capture the emotion in every moment.
It was such a valuable and inspirational experience- not only did I get to brush up on some technical skills and hear about Christine’s journey to photographer, I was reminded of the joy that comes with pursuing the things that you love and are passionate about. As cheesy as that sounds. I also got the chance to meet some great fellow photographers with years of experience who had great stories and knowledge to share.
We stepped out along the beach at Coyote Point and practiced with with our models, Matt & Sarah- a fun, energetic and adorable couple who were making a stop during their road trip with their awesome dog, Birch. I loved their chemistry and their free spirit, so I hope I was able to capture this in some of the photos I took.
Below are some of my favorite pictures I got of Matt, Sarah and Birch having some fun on the beach
